- Josh SI genuinely don’t know if I’ve had a better meal for this price. So much juicy meet on the halal sandwich. A symphony of complimenting flavors. The bread was crispy and thick…but not too thick. The Turkish tea was the perfect taste to accompany. Plus it’s family owned and operated with friendly staff. Do yourself a favor and try this place out. You won’t be sorry.
- Susan RHad to try this place out after their many social media posts. Family run business with a few tables for indoor dining. They take great pride in making everything themselves and they should. The flavors are incredible. The stuffed grape leaves are refreshing, delicately filled and rolled. I got the Kofte sandwich and it was awesome! Bring your appetite, huge sandwiches. The stand out was the baklava which melted in your mouth.
- ElizaBeth CMy fiancé and I went to the Spinning Gyro for a quick lunch during an Albany visit. We each got the beef gyro and were pleased from start to finish with our experience. The gyro is not the traditional pita-style gyro (primarily Greek style), but we were pleasantly surprised by the wonderfully fresh house made bread. It had a soft (but not too soft) interior with lightly crisp exterior that reminded us of the Döner kebab’s in Germany (a delicious Turkish street food). The meat had subtle but tasteful flavors, though we would recommend getting 2x meat to balance the bread ratio. Both sauces complemented the meal well. The service was welcoming and attentive during our entire visit. The food was ready in minutes (with 4 or 5 other orders also placed) and the employees offered us complementary tea to go along with what turned out to be a delectable meal.
